| Folk Tales |
This new series is based on the idea of what we consider to be our "national identity." I have interjected Chicano personas into traditional folk tales. With the ever growing influence of Hispanic and Latin culture and influence, the melding of ideas and identity continues to change and evolve. As borders are blurring, I decided to begin the series with tales that I am familiar with and have enjoyed, but I have also begun to study and research other folk tales from throughout the U.S., Central America and Latin America. These prints are first edition prints with a limited edition of 10. |
